Burst Ovarian Cyst

Hi Ladies, a week ago i had a sudden sharp pain in my right lower abdomen, I finally got to see my GP on Friday who referred me to the acute gynae unit at the hospital - long story short had to return yesterday (saturday) for a scan which showed the cyst on my right ovary was only 2cm but had in fact burst. The pain im in right now is horrendous. i was advised they dont operate as the body deals with this on its own but could take weeks to fully heal  last night i started with sharp pains in my back around the lung/kidney area on the right hand side its hurts to breathe in. has anybody else experienced this?? is this part of the burst cyst??.
