Hi just wondering if anyone experiences butterflies in the tummy?? I constantly feel anxious plus all the normal menopause symptoms!! When I do stop stressing they do go!! I have had various blood tests which are all normal!! I have just bought a lady care the magnet you place in your underware to see if this helps!! Has anyone else used this??? If this fails I feel I my need HRT!!! It’s hard as the doctors can’t tell you how long this will go on for!!! Really upsetting as I don’t feel like eating!! Love to hear from any ladies that experience stomach issues or any advice about HRT xx 😘

All part of anxiety, it’s an awful feeling and sometimes it feels like nervous energy that will never stop ...

    BUT

Butterflies to the Rescue — Stomach butterflies are associated with the body's fight-or-flight response. ... At the same time, the nervous system stimulates the adrenal glands, which release hormones including adrenaline and cortisol that can turn the body into a tense, sweaty mess .

All part of menopause and these 101 symptoms

Hi carol, it’s awful every morning at the moment I’m waking up with really bad reflux, stomach very tender. Dr changed my tablets on Friday so hoping they will kick in soon. I know it gets worse when my anxiety flares up, it’s a no win situation at the moment. I’m on hrt patches which help with most symptoms but not these ones x

Hi yes this is one of many symptoms the anxiety, I found I had this post menopause. Just there all the time with the hot sweats. I have heard the lady care magnet works with some ladies , The only thing that has worked for me Is HRT. Like you I didn't feel like eating I lost weight no appetite at all. I felt I had no quality of life. I won't look back quality of life is so important  confused

I have such bad anxiety.  The minute I wake up I get that sick feeling in my stomach (butterflies).

My mind just doesn't shut off and I dread starting the day, again.

I have experienced the butterflies feeling in my stomach for a couple of years now. its awful. I've been to my general physician, gastro specialists, OB Gyn, endocrinology, and no one could give me answers. I was on HRT for 6 months, it helped, but i decided to stop when I developed uterine polyps and diverticulitis. Anti- depressants helped too, but i dont like the side effects. Now I just put up with the sudden anxious butterfly feeling that comes out of nowhere! 😦 Its bad.
