Buzzing

Does anyone else experience continual 'buzzing' or 'fizzing' sensation rather than itching? It's rather like a nettle sting.  I have still yet to get a proper diagnosis but GP believe this symptom plus fusing to be LS. I have no white patches. I have started swabbing with borax morning and night, which is soothing. I moisturise with coconut oil and wash with emollient cream. Also is it best to see a dermatologist or a gynae or both? My gynae and GP have been vague about putting me on treatment.

I had my annual pap today and although she is not my specialist I asked how things were looking down there.

She said it was very red and irritated and that some but not all of my lips have atrophied and my hood has fushed over my clit,..... I love sex and I see that this is going to deeply affect my sex life.... I am super sad

Very sorry to hear that, Michelle. I have read on some of the posts here that doctors can un-fuse the skin. I'm not sure if they mainly do that when the urethra or the vagina are closed over, but maybe it's worth a try to ask? I don't see why they wouldn't also un-fuse skin over the clitoris.

Sorry to hear that, Michelle. I wonder if the doctors can do something to un-fuse the skin over your clitoris? From what I've ready here, it seems that un-fusing is a possibility. I think I read that someone's labia had fused together over the urethra, so the doctors of course had to un-fuse it immediately.

i cant say i know whats going on with you, mel. The buzzing sensation I have is in the vulva. I would say yours may be tinnitus if it is in your ears possibly? Have you had a diagnosis of LS?
