Buzzing electric feeling on prozac

Upped my dose to 40mg three weeks ago. at night i get an electric buzz feeling in my head and get really fatigued. feels like the top of my head is heavy. anyone else get this?

    I think the drug does have an effect on the head, its probably a side effect,how long have you been taking prozac, and did you get any other side effects, I had side effects when I first started the drug and again when the dose was increased, it makes changes to the brain so you probably are noticing it more at night, I make lots of saliva when I go to bed, but if I wake up after its gone.

    All these things are about depression, and what effects one person doesnt effect another.

    It would be nice to hear from you.

      was off and on for 25 years. tapered down awhile back and needed to go back up a few months ago. ive had sode effects befire but this one is def a bit more intense

      How long have you been on the drug, are you taking them for depression, when do you take it, the best time if it affects your sleep is in the morning.

      I have been taking fluoxetine for six weeks, and last three weeks dose was put up to 40m, I may get one or two days when I think I am getting better and then go backwards, and feel horrid again.

      I have been on it before, but I cant remember the outcome when I felt myself again, so not certain what it will feel like this time, does seem strange that I have good days and not so good.
