Buzzing Inside Ear

I've been playing and singing in a band for over ten years (with earplugs) but recently i've started having a strong buzzing inside my left ear whenever I sing particularly high/loud notes. The only thing that seems to stop the buzzing is by putting some cotton wool inside that ear. Does anyone know what it could be?

I've also had brain fog/spaced out/blurry vision for about 2.5 months.

    Well the problem you describe sounds like tinnitus bit not sure why the cotton wool would affect it. Re the spaced out feeling....That could be many things. How is your general health?
