BV and Hormones

Hi,

I have been struggling with BV for two years. I have seen a specialist and my obgyn. Tried tons of boric acid and metrogel supression therapy. didnt work. I am starting pelvic floor therapy next week as there is vaginal burning and pain attributed to the constant infections. In mid October I am seeing a new vaginitis specialist. In the meantime, I am dealing with constant battle with the PH level of my vagina. I take my ph daily. I tried five days of metrogel and 21 days of boric acid. Soon as I stopped the boric acid for one day, the BV started. My ph went up right around my period. I am in perimenopause so I know the issue is fluctuating hormones which makes my ph go all over the place. I literally can feel myself getting bv during my period.

I am finishing up a 10 day of metrogel and then I was planning on instead of boric acid - trying a new PH balancing gel to help restore good bacteria. I also have estrogen vaginal cream that could help increase my ph over time (just haven't been able to use much due to monthly bv infections.

Has anyone been in similar situation with BV and hormones and what worked for you? I do also take a strong oral probiotic.

please google herbal infusions, oatsraw and comfrey leaf, boil these herbs. strain them. pour in mason jar. add just a little unsweetened cranberry juice to it, deink 3 to 4 mason jars every day, take 4 to 5 kwoli garlic supplements, see how uou feel, if it works, help someone else. our bodies are missing key nutrients. these herbs help, its not a miracle, but natural and safe, ask your doctor about taking herbs first. use your boric suppositories too
