BV CAUSED BY GARDNERELLA

Hi. I’ve posted that I’m battling Bv but there are many strains that cause it. Mine happens to be gardnerella. Anyone else have this type and did anything work? Thanks!

    I had the same type. I just finally got my ph balance back to normal and am all clear. I had tried flaggyl for a couple days and had awful  side effects. The doctor stopped me and gave me metrogel. I never used it. I did lots of research online and ordered boric acid suppositories. Did one suppository at night before bed for 1 week (wear a pad the next day). I also took femdipholus (probiotic) daily. I ordered vaginal ph test strips on amazon. A few days after I finished the boric acid, I test it and was back to normal!

      Hi! I took flagyl a few times and it didn’t work.  I tried the boric acid for two weeks also a few months ago. It didn’t work and it caused irritation.  I’ll have to check my ph again. I also take probiotics.
