BV CURED!

I was pretty excited to come on this site to share what has cured me because i know how frustrating bv is and i am sure some of you have tried many things.

I had bv for 3 months. I am just now getting over it. I had gone to the doctors twice and have taken metronidazole and clindamycin. both intravaginal gels. Both gave me unwanted side effects and my symptoms came back after a week with both. I have also tried douching with h202 and vinegar for 5 days but it did not cure me while taking acidiphilus tablets and inserting two vaginally. It did not cure me. Little by little the itch would come back.

After a lot of research i was determined to fight this as I have seen many women have it for years and not have any solutions. Here are my findings and I am proud to say I am bv free! I take a vitamin b complex with folic acid 800, vitamin d3 5000iu and acidiphilus daily. do some research on it and test it out, i promise you wont be disappointed!

Okay so I just got told I have BV this morning at the ER but I don't have the smelly discharge symptom. I have like a watery, constant discharge but no odor. I have discomfort/pain when sitting or moving a certain way like as if something is in there & it burns and burns when I try to urinate- so much that I tear up. Does anyone else have those symptoms? If so did the Vit-C method work for you? Please help

Hi Hope, sorry to hear that! I've never experienced the burning or pain that u described. Early indication for me is watery discharge and frequent urine and because I know the smell all too well I can smell it before my home ph kit even indicated an imbalance. Did ER give you Rx?

Has anyone ever had really bad pain/discomfort with BV? My doctor said I had BV but no one on here has had pain sad and I bought a ph balancer cream and did that thinking itd at least help and then I bought the vit- C with rose hip and inserted it and I don't think it has helped and I am in desperate need for help. It hurts to bend down, move, sit, etc. and very painful to pee. It's so bad I don't even want to go to work because the pain is so bad. I do have discharge but I'm not as worried about clearing that up as I am the pain. I just want it gone. So if you had what I'm describing please please help I'm desperate 😭

I know this thread is old, but please tell me everything you. i've tried oral antibioitics, the vaginal gel. The gel clears it up, the issue I have is that it keeps coming back. My doctor hasn't been too sh*t for me but prescribing the antibiotics. I tried the vitamin C suppositories. It stopped the odor, but there was still a slight itch and my discharge was orange with hints of blood. I tried the metrogel for the 3rd time last. I decided that after that, I would start my probitiocs again (25 billion) along with my folic acid supplements. I also was inserting an acidophilus tablet twice a day to help with the yeast infection that the metrogel gave me. Well, it's been six days since my last dose of metrogel, and six days since I started with the supplements, and guess what? I think my BV's come back. I don't know what my body wants for me anymore. Tell me everything you know. About the vitamins. The tea tree suppositories. How you keep it clean down there (i.e. pH balanced vaginal washes). Any and everything. I just want a safe and healthy way to keep my vagina in check. I don't want anything interferig with my sex life or my ability to have kids. ANYthing you tell me would be a big help. Sorry this is so long.

Also, do you think that I should see a primary care doctor instead of my gyno?

BV is caused by your immune system not being strong or efficient enough to fight off bad bacteria down there. If you are healthy your body should fight off BV easily! That being said you need to focus on being healthy from the inside primarily before you use any other treatments that only fix things temporarily.

Here is the most effective plan that will fight off BV within just days:

    -exclude caffeine and sweets (completely!!!)

-eat more salads and superfoods, and avoid processed foods

    -exercise (daily if possible)

-drink lots and lots of water

-take vitamins (I take 2 wellness vitamins and vitamin C)

-take vaginal probiotics (I took 2 gem dophilus probiotics a day)

-drink probiotic drinks (like 1 bio-K probiotic drink a day) make sure they don't have any added sugar!

-eat 2 raw cloves of garlic (I crush them and mince them and pour olive oil over - makes it easier to swallow)

To minimize the smell and symptoms while you are getting better on the inside do this:

    - do hydrogen peroxide wash with 50% water and 50% of the solution daily then ->

-> insert tampon for 1-2 hrs dipped in coconut oil

    - insert tea tree suppositories overnight

Following all these steps should cure BV within just a couple days.

    Good luck!
