BV CURED!

I was pretty excited to come on this site to share what has cured me because i know how frustrating bv is and i am sure some of you have tried many things.

I had bv for 3 months. I am just now getting over it. I had gone to the doctors twice and have taken metronidazole and clindamycin. both intravaginal gels. Both gave me unwanted side effects and my symptoms came back after a week with both. I have also tried douching with h202 and vinegar for 5 days but it did not cure me while taking acidiphilus tablets and inserting two vaginally. It did not cure me. Little by little the itch would come back.

After a lot of research i was determined to fight this as I have seen many women have it for years and not have any solutions. Here are my findings and I am proud to say I am bv free! I take a vitamin b complex with folic acid 800, vitamin d3 5000iu and acidiphilus daily. do some research on it and test it out, i promise you wont be disappointed!

I've had BV for ages, Ive been given prescriptions which work when I'm on them then don't when I come off it. Im going to try your Merhod, do you have to take this for the rest of your life or a certain amount of time for it to go away? Thank you!

Hi I'm new to this site but not new to BV. Had it for about 2.5 years pretty much, every since I had a copper IUD (that has been removed over a year ago).

So i guess I will try taking oral probiotics and rose hip water. Not sure aboit this VIT C pills internally, that make you burn! Eeekk!

I'm desperse to sort this issue of chronic BV, it's getting me down!

I guess it just depends on the person. I had zero burning.

You are not alone... bv is in the brink of destroying everything for me, including my career. My sex life was over months ago, as well as my social life. If you want to try the vit c, the 50mg worked temporarily when inserted with a tampon, the 1000mg pill burned like all hell. Bless you. Good luck.

I had BV for about a week before I went to the gyno. The smell is very pronounced so it worried me. I got put on metronidazole as well for five days and my BV just came back after two weeks. I went to the gyno again, said it would cure itself and if I wanted medication, he could prescribe another "remedy". I said no I'll just let it go and maybe it'll go away itself. Two months past and I was just sick of taking 6 showers a day and feeling so insecure about the smell of my vagina. I haven't wanted to have sex with my partner cause it's embarrassing. I tried the Vitamin C with rose-hips overnight and it worked for the day. No smell at all. I did it again the next night just to be sure and I was good for the whole day. I was so relieved. I didn't take a third one last night cause I thought I didn't need it and I went into the shower this morning and I got a wiff of that very well known smell. Checked if it was what I thought it was and it was! And I felt like the smell is stronger than before!! Not only does it smell down there but it lingerssss. I'm going to try a remedy I've found douching with acidophilus and I'll update on results. Apparently it goes away permanently but we'll see. Just wanted to share my experience with the vitamin c with rose-hips. (No burning or irritation btw, some people might not be doing it correctly. I put it up there with a tampon)

This works if you want it temporarily gone. But me personally, I refuse to change my whole lifestyle over BV. I'm not trying to stick a pill up my vagina every night and deal with the liquidy, sandy discharge from it all day. The way I see it, I haven't had this my whole life so I must be doing something differently. Once I figure it out, I will share. smile

I've had BV on and off for a few years. I've taken all the presciptions. It goes away and comes back. This may sound crazy but I started to wipe differently and have only gotten BV once and that was from a antibiotic that I was on from having pnemonia. And no I didn't wipe back to front. I wipe front to back just now more to the side. But ever since I started wiping differently I haven't had BV since.
