BV CURED!

I was pretty excited to come on this site to share what has cured me because i know how frustrating bv is and i am sure some of you have tried many things.

I had bv for 3 months. I am just now getting over it. I had gone to the doctors twice and have taken metronidazole and clindamycin. both intravaginal gels. Both gave me unwanted side effects and my symptoms came back after a week with both. I have also tried douching with h202 and vinegar for 5 days but it did not cure me while taking acidiphilus tablets and inserting two vaginally. It did not cure me. Little by little the itch would come back.

After a lot of research i was determined to fight this as I have seen many women have it for years and not have any solutions. Here are my findings and I am proud to say I am bv free! I take a vitamin b complex with folic acid 800, vitamin d3 5000iu and acidiphilus daily. do some research on it and test it out, i promise you wont be disappointed!

Guys. Metronidazole and acidophilus. Take these at the same time and you're good! I had terrible BV for six straight months. I tried everything. I took metronidazole and got it back a week after, I tried vit C, vit D, douching, sitting in hot salt water, and so many other ridiculous things. After so much research I thought "okay, if metronidazole clears ALL bacteria and acidophilus produces more good bacteria, then I should take them at the same time so the good bacteria can overcome the bad bacteria" and it worked!! I've been BV free for three months now! I've had my period regularly, I've had sex, I've been living my normal lifestyle. It's great!

This definitely worked I tried acidophilus and the metronidazole it got rid of it. I also placed acidophilus mixed with plain yogurt in my vagina with a tampon it cleared everything right up for me no more odor itching or bacteria and just to be on the safe side I had my husband get the same medication because I believe he was giving it back to me and now nothing I'm BV free now for a whole year!!

I'v taken all of that & it didn't work. I'm now taking Tea Tree oil & Tea tree suppositories. You douche with the tea tree oil 10 or so drops in bottled water. Then use the suppositories. I'v also been taking folic acid & the RAW Probiotics 50 billion for vaginal care. I don't itch anymore but am wary that it might return.

Honestly I don't know. I've been taking them forever too. I had a test done once and I needed more Lactobilli (not sure on spelling). So It Was recremmened To take a probiotics in the refrigerator section. That product was what was the best according to the sales lady. I don't know how well it seriously works.

I did one time. But I inserted the pill and freaked myself out that it wasnt going to disolve. So I took it back out. Lol

I was thinking of trying it again.

I have probiotic pills too. I was thinking of soaking a tampon in live culture yogourt and sprinkling the inside of the tablet on to it and inserting it in my vagina.. do you think that's a good idea?

I'm not sure. I never did the vitamin C insert. I don't think I would do the yogurt unless I asked my dr first. I did tell her about the pill I inserted and she said that would be ok.

Side note- The pill was super hard to open and got everywhere so be careful when you do open it.

Do you have stingy discharge? Sore /itchy?
