BV CURED!

I was pretty excited to come on this site to share what has cured me because i know how frustrating bv is and i am sure some of you have tried many things.

I had bv for 3 months. I am just now getting over it. I had gone to the doctors twice and have taken metronidazole and clindamycin. both intravaginal gels. Both gave me unwanted side effects and my symptoms came back after a week with both. I have also tried douching with h202 and vinegar for 5 days but it did not cure me while taking acidiphilus tablets and inserting two vaginally. It did not cure me. Little by little the itch would come back.

After a lot of research i was determined to fight this as I have seen many women have it for years and not have any solutions. Here are my findings and I am proud to say I am bv free! I take a vitamin b complex with folic acid 800, vitamin d3 5000iu and acidiphilus daily. do some research on it and test it out, i promise you wont be disappointed!

Kris please PLEASE help me. I have been dealing with bv/bv symptoms for months! Tried flagyl/clindamyacin and it always returns. Can you please walk me through exactly what you do to get rid of it once you have it and then what you do to prevent/maintain it? The dosage amounts etc.? Please I'm desperate and miserable and can't even get intimate with my boyfriend anymore I'm in so much pain!!

I've been battling this for months. The only way to truely get rid of this is to STOP all the anti biotics and STOP douching / inserting things into your vagina.

Women get themselves in aggressive circles of desperation like I did.. and you continue doing your vagina harm.

      Are you on birth control?

Do you take one of each (vit b complex, folic acid, vit d 3) daily? And do you take them together or during different parts of the day? I feel like I have so many vitamins I'm taking it's hard to sort out which to have alone and which together.

You should chekc with your doctor if you are taking that much vitamin d3, too much is harmful. I take that amount becuase of health issues and because it is what my doctor told me to take.  And I still have BV.

I tried the doctor-prescribed medication to no avail. I tried the boric acid up my hoo-ha. The only thing that worked was D-Mannose, a natural supplement. I used it for 5 days straight, took 1 by mouth every 2 hours. It cleared up. Wanted to post this to help others who may not have had success using different routes.

So I wanted to let everyone know what I did to cure my bv. First, go to your doctor and get the prescription of antibiotics, but instead of taking two a day. Take one in the middle of the day. And take two acidophilus a day. One in the morning and one in the evening. Do this till your antibiotics run out then take the acidophilus for the rest of your life!!!!!

I suffered from what I was told was BV for many many years like 30 + years. I have been on the Antibiotics they say will cure it but it would just be back within days.... I have tried every over the counter product that has been mentioned on man many sites. Then I fo a bad cold with sinus infection and my doctor gave me an antibiotic that I had Never taken before it was called Doxycycline. Within 2 days of taking this I noticed that I no longer had an odor. I continued to take this medication as directed and my BV never came back Seems that there is more then one type of bacterial infections in the vagina and this one actually cured me ...So if you have been on an antibiotic for BV and it did not cure it PLEASE ask your Dr if you could try Doxycycline because it just may cure you as it did me

Hey I just wanted you all to know that I like many others have been battling bv for years and have tried every suggestion to get rid of it and I have finally found my solution. See at first I tried all the home remedies ever written on Google and nothing ever work. So I went to see the doc and they prescribed me medication of course that didn't work either. So I tired canestest bacterial vaginosis gel and when that didn't work I was super upset and didn't know what to do with myself. Then one day at boots I sumbped upon balance activ and honestly ladies it's a god send. Though I'm only on my second day it has all cleared up and I hope that is it. I know that not everything works for different people but I strongly suggest you give this a try. Hope it works il and will cure yours like it is mine good luck ladies

I finally am cured of BV !!! When I tell you I've had it for 7 years, I mean it's been a real life struggle!! I believe it is definitely sexually transmitted. I have tried everything under the sun; antibiotics, hydrogen peroxide water mix, vitamin c tabs, probiotics, yogurt, tea concoctions, garlic, vagina pearls etc!!!! They all were temporary fixes nothing long term! I thought I would have to say so long to sugar and all he things I love. The only thing I didn't try that CURED ME was taking the antibiotics and having my boyfriend take them as well!!! I had to take 2 a day for a week and my boyfriend had to take 4 pills all in one sitting. Since then I have been BV free! My boyfriend and I have our normal sex and everything! It's been 6 months so far, which is the longest I have ever gone without it!
