BV CURED!

Posted , 390 users are following.

I was pretty excited to come on this site to share what has cured me because i know how frustrating bv is and i am sure some of you have tried many things.

I had bv for 3 months. I am just now getting over it. I had gone to the doctors twice and have taken metronidazole and clindamycin. both intravaginal gels. Both gave me unwanted side effects and my symptoms came back after a week with both. I have also tried douching with h202 and vinegar for 5 days but it did not cure me while taking acidiphilus tablets and inserting two vaginally. It did not cure me. Little by little the itch would come back.

After a lot of research i was determined to fight this as I have seen many women have it for years and not have any solutions. Here are my findings and I am proud to say I am bv free! I take a vitamin b complex with folic acid 800, vitamin d3 5000iu and acidiphilus daily. do some research on it and test it out, i promise you wont be disappointed!

So I went to the doctor two weeks ago and I was diagnosed with BV...I really don't like going to the doctor or taking medicine unless i absolutely have to but because I was sure what I had wasn't your usual yeast infection I decided to go. They gave me an antibiotic that starts with an M..I'm sure those of you who have taken it know what im talking about. After taking it for 7 days it seemed like it was completely gone but 2 days later it returned. So i decided to do some extensive research and I stumbled upon this forum and I'm so glad and thankful that I did because now I'm BV free. I bought the Vitamin C tablets with Rose Hip (500mg) and I bought the Acidophilus tablets with 1 billion bacteria per pill. I inserted 1 Vitamin C tablet every night before bed for 2 nights and I took an Acidophilus pill twice a day for those 2 days and now the BV is completely gone. Its been 2 weeks now and it has not come back. This will be my go to from now on. Thanks alot guys!

      Hello Melisa,

Is the Vitamin C Rosehip (500 mg) the chewable one? I read earlier that it should be dissolvable.

No it's the not the chewable one. The one you need is the white tablets.

Hi all I didn't fancy using all the tablets etc mentioned on here but if your desperate i guess we try anything. Anyway i thank God Almighty i seem to have accidentally come across a natural cure. Try drink quite a few cups of green tea sweetened with raw honey in a day and that should get rid of it. It seems to have worked wonders for me. Try it just give it a few days to work though and walaah. The smell and hopefully all the nasty bacteria has gone. Let the green tea cool a bit before putting in the honey so the hot water does not kill the good bacteria in the honey. Hope it works for you as it has for me.

I think you are probably right I tried everything then went on a diet of oken youghurt fresh veg, salad, fruit and two rephesh suppostries and I haven't had any syptims for around two weeks even semen doesn't seem to be throwing me off balance. I also try to drink bottled water and use pH drops in my tea. I've stopped taking any oral tablets as my stomach was feeling like a washing machine. When I tested my urine with a pH stick it was yellow on the stick after eating salad and a fruit smoothie it was dark green almost blue so I can vouch for just how quick good eating can alter your pH balance. I was eating so much processed food and loved coca coca, once you get your head around it its quite easy to do without them though not as cheap as a bad diet. I do feel healthier and less tired I never want bv again but if I do rephresh is great for putting a lining on the inside of your vagina while you give the healthy eating time to kick in which can take a week or two so if anyone is like me and want an instant cure buy rephresh I only needed to us two (one every three days) no smell one discomfort sex without any dryness would high recommend.

Thank you all sooo much. I have been given antibiotics over and over and that failed to fully cure me.But I took the vitamin c with rose hip and folic acid and saw results the same day. I don't have any discharge nor smell. Words cant express how thankful I am!

Hi kris  I just wanted to let everyone know boric acid inserts are the bomb and easy to make yourself.  not only does it kill BV but also yeast infections.

For the people that used the vitamin c with rose hips , does it matter if it's tablets or capsules ? And what were your findings after using it ?

It has to be the white tablets because they are uncoated and according to another post i seen...the coated ones won't work. What I did was insert one every night for two nights and also took 2 acidophilus pills (1 million bacteria per pill) per day orally for those 2 days and my BV was gone. I can only say what worked for me. Hopefully this will help alot of women out there with BV.

Sorry it's 1 billion bacteria per pill

Tablets are better because sometimes it's hard for the capsule to fully dissolve. You will see results.

Thank you and yes I have the tablets and I take the 50 bil flora probiotics

I inserted the vitamin c with rose hips last night and today I notice a slight clumpy discharge that wasn't there before. Could it be the remnants of the vitamin????

Hey I am wondering if the new form of capsule that is now available (with cranberry) is just as effective as the original?
    • Posted

I know that it does help but I dont think it is as effective.  The ingredent that was removed is Borax 3X* HPUS (Sodium borate)  it is a derivitive of boric acid.  I have made my own boric acid suppositories and not only is it cheaper it goes straight to the problem.  It works for both bv and yeast.

No it is not the same ingredients that help fight bv. it's more for vaginal health alone

So what would be good way to fight it now ?

Research boric acid and bv and yeast infection.  Trust me.

Have you read any of the prior discussion? There are a few different supplements and remedies to try. Regular vitamin c works wonders. cleaning up diet and taking a strong peobiotic will get rid of it

Yes I did but there were so many different ones and then some of the products suggested aren't for sale anymore so I was wondering if there was a good product besides vitamin c that is still currently available
