BV CURED

Posted , 2 users are following.

Okay so i suffered from horrible bv for around 4/5 months. I became in a state of depression and no doctors or nurses seemed to be helping me! Eventually i was diagnosed with bv and was given antibiotics to take for a week. This so far has worked for me and it has been just about a month. I post this as i want people to know that although a lot of the time the antibiotics dont work and BV often comes back it has worked for me so i encourage you to see your doctor. I know it can be embarrassing but please just do it, it may help as it did me!

Hi Leah - that's great it worked for you. I would definitely take probiotics though - I hope the doctor suggested that. Just because the antibiotics kill off good bacteria too. Keep feeling well x

Leah, I am not sure that I have BV, as I have neuropathy, and I think that may be the cause of the burning, but I will consult my gynecologist about the possibility of BV.  She gave me meds for yeast, but I don't think that is the problem.  Glad you are doing better.

Yeah you definitely should just get yourself tested for it in case. The first 3 times i went to the doctors they told me they didnt think it was bv and wouldnt help me but eventually i put my foot down and as i thought the test came back positive for BV. Its defintely worth getting tested and finding out for certain, if it not the case at least thatll help narrow down your options of what it may be. Hope you find your cure soon and thank you x

I had vaginitis for 4 months. The way that it was finally cured: I asked to be treated for mycoplasma genitalium. This bacteria causes a high pH and recurrent BV. And no one screens for it, and flagyl doesn't kill it. If you want to be tested: labcorp test 180089. Treatment is 5 day z-pack. Good luck!
