Bv gone after 3 years

I have been suffering from bv for almost 3 years. That’s because my current partner I’ve been with his semen for some reason don’t like my bacteria. I did not have this issue with my ex partner. However whenever we have unprotected sex the bv would develop in 24 hour fishy rotten smell and white discharge. I’ve been taking the metronidazole antibiotics. It clears my bv but it keeps coming back as soon as I have sex with my partner. I became resistant to the antibiotics after taking 3 years on and off.  I was very embarrassed and didn’t want to have sex anymore. It’s very important that u educate your partner and explain to him why the smell is appearing etc. And he understood everything and was supportive. But the smell was awful. I started using pessaries balance active from the pharmacy it helped abit but oh my it drys you out. I didn’t care too much about the dryness .. my focus was to get rid of the bv. I started 3 weeks ago to drink great amount of water and started taking multivitamins blackcurrant flavour, the ones that you dissolve in water everyday. Along with that I take folic acid and probiotic. And my god my bv is completely gone after 1 week of using those 3 tablets. My sex life is soo much better. My boyfriend noticed it first and said you bv is gone what have you done. I am Soo happy and wanted to share this with all my ladies suffering from this horrible infection bv!!! I have no plans to stop taking those vitamins and I’m also currently pregnant and still taking it. This have changed my life and I can’t stop smiling as I’m writing this.

Good luck ladies
