Bv has ruined my life.

nothing worked off the doctors for me either .

I resulted to boric acid for 2 weeks and I'm definitely fresher but I still smell in the night because I only smell it in the morning it's over night that's a issue but without being to graphic I use my finger to smell in my tunnel and its clean no smell .

I went to the gum clinic and they did a ph test and I was fine and they said they couldn't smell anything during the examination so fxxk knows.

if you haven't already try boric acid it certainly gives you a cleaner vagina inside the tunnel .

but I'm sweating with my bum I've a big bum these days and jeans make it worse

so I think that slight smell I do have left is due to my bum and not using anything but water on my lips I think the smell along with a bum sweating and outside vagina not being masked by products is the smell I'm slightly having is down to that .

I bath twice a day anyway I'm very very clean this is why I'm getting bv and have suffered 10 years in total on and off but this bout has lasted 3 years with no rest other than boric acid .

I also use a pessary once a week to keep it in check .

you've morning to lose if you try boric acid its certainly helped my bv by 80% .

It's not nice your partner has said that to you but know we all here are going through this and you're not smelling for any other reason but bv and you're not alone .

Hi and samthing with me even tho its not a cure but i use them also to keep me fresh there to, and it say you shouldnt but what i do once i put it in i wait a day or two after then have sex i dont smell anything but be real wet while having sex thats a good thing lol, ive learned so much about this and my vagina! hopefully this helps!

yea I agree it's the only way to keep fresh .

I hope we don't end up getting immune to boric or the suppositories I use in the UK.

They're very expensive I got my 30 bottle from Ebay boricapp in obviously in the UK I pay £13 for delivery because I get them sent from America.

someone on here told me this brand worked for her so i purchased a 30 bottle.

I use 2 a day for 1 week and then 1 a day for a week then I got my period and my period was alot fresher and I lasted 5 days clean but then my vulva and lips didn't feel fresh when I was looking at my lady garden with a mirror for something i cant really go into but I lay on the floor and my legs bent and I got a not clean smell .

so apparently I'm healthy with ph levels but yes I do agree my inside tunnel does not smell anymore but my outside parts do smell a little .

yet when I use boric acid and suppositories I dont get that outside vagina unclean smell so I know I'm not ok fully

since I started boric I'm a lot cleaner inside and no discharge in my knickers I just get a unclean smell but I've been under covers all night so maybe because I no longer use fresh products on my outside vagina just warm water now so maybe that's the reason I'm getting a slight pong .

but again why dont i get that smell when I'm using boric acid ..

I would invest in some pH strips in case you don't have a sense of smell. Anything above a 4.5 signals an infection like BV.
