Okay so I've had bv for 7 yrs. Last night I inserted an acidolphilus pill into my vagina for the first time. This morning at work I noticed some discharge but it wasn't nearly as bad as it always is & then my period started. I never have bv symptoms while my period is on but I would like to continue using the acidolphilus pills during my period. I'm not sure if I should or wait til my period goes off. I heard one woman say she I inserted 2 of the pills at night for 3 or 4 nights but idk if that's safe but I'm willing to try almost anything to get rid of bv forever. I don't want to use anything else. I want to keep using these pills. If anybody can help I'd really appreciate it

I wouldn't use them while on your period doesn't seem safe best of luck I've been dealing with BV for almost 5 years still trying to get rid of it! I feel your pain

I haven't I'm real iffy with putting stuff up there I tried using gentian violet and I'm pretty sure I made stuff worse for myself so I'm trying to get everything under control I just try to watch what I eat and take probotics and vitamin d everyday.

I take probiotics as well. I'm iffy too but with this I have to try different things since doctors can't figure it out.
