Ask your medical provider for clindamycin cream. Sometimes metronidazole makes it worse.

I tried to find what my triggers were and reduced them. For me, it was avoiding washing my vagina with any perfumed soap, using organic tampons or cloth pads, taking pro-biotics, washing with sensitive detergent etc. I also insert a SUGAR FREE (make sure it’s SF now) vitamin C tablet into my vagina after every cycle ( this was one of my triggers) and after my husband ejaculated inside of me (another trigger)

This seemed to return my vaginal flora health back to its ‘normal’ levels until the triggers disrupt them again.

Please take into account that everyone is different and reacts different to various remedies. All the best!!!

Be careful with FLAGYL or CINDAMYCIN as they are potent for other vaginal infections but not the "grand dame" Bacterial Vaginosis.

Consult an GYNE and let her/him guide you with this problem.  The sad part is that you really can't get rid of it and you pretty much learn that the two of you will be joined at the hip together. (chuckle).  What treatment works for one female, doesn't necessarily work for you.  So you play this game of using different modalities until something works.

DO NOT USE 'over the counter' douches!!!

Hang in there...Take care and be blessed!
