I walk mums dog (James's mum she lives with us) what I call round the block. I live on a farm so it is really up and down. The uphill is definitely harder! I do my exercises spasmodically and chastise my self continually for not doing them!! 😳😳😳
i prepare lunch and dinner. Wish hubby could cook! He's willing and all he wants to do is help, but by the time I tell him how to do everything, and the stress involved when he does it wrong typical man, doesn't like being told, and doesn't listen.
Dont get me wrong. I struggle to sit for any length of time , fidget like hell. Glad to be up doing something. So cooking is fine though I've had enough by the end of it.
Guilt free Wimbledon has been my indulgence my only problem is like I said I can't sit still for too log. Getting better all the time though. Heather Watson gave us some food tennis today.
Just having yet another cup of tea. Where would I be without my cup of tea? I had another chocolate ginger biscuit, more calories!!!
I still havnt done online shopping. Only talking about it today. Will have a go tomorrow
just got my son to buy l me a dvd. So fed up with the rubbish on television
thunder storm going on here. Quit spectacular been watching it for ages. Going now
hope you are asleep really rather than reading this,
may you be comfortable

Ingredients
175g dates, stoned and chopped
125g ready-to-eat prunes, chopped
75g raisins
75g currants
200g block butter
200ml water
300g condensed milk
110g plain flour
110g wholemeal flour
pinch of salt
½ level teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 rounded tablespoon chunky marmalade
For the glaze:
1½ tablspoons marmalade
½ tablespoon water
Pre-heat the oven to 170C, gas mark 3
and the method...
Begin by placing all the fruits, the butter, water and condensed milk in a saucepan, then simply bring it to the boil, stirring quite frequently to prevent it sticking.
Let the mixture simmer for 3 minutes exactly – still stirring occasionally and, whatever you do, don’t forget it!
Now transfer the mixture to a large mixing bowl, to cool off for about 30 minutes.
While it’s cooling, weigh out the flours, then sift them onto a plate, adding the salt and bicarbonate of soda. (When you sieve wholemeal flour there are usually some bits of bran left in the sieve, so just tip them back into the rest of the sieved flour.)
When the fruit mixture has cooled, stir the flour, salt and bicarbonate of soda into it, adding a nice round tablespoon of marmalade too.
Then spoon the mixture into the prepared tin, level it off with the back of a tablespoon and bake the cake on a lower shelf so that the top of the tin is aligned with the centre of the oven for 1 hour and 50 minutes.
Have a look halfway through, and if the top of the cake looks a bit dark put a double square of baking parchment on top to protect it.
Then let the cake cool in the tin for 5 minutes before turning it out to cool on a wire tray.
When the cake is completely cold, gently heat the marmalade in a small saucepan with the water.
Then brush it all over the top of the cake.
Store in an airtight tin.
hope you enjoy it, depening on your oven it may take less time, if you have a fan oven I would set it at 165c and check it after 100 mins, it's better underdone than over, so it keeps it's gooey texture, let me know how it comes out, and please post a pic,
have a great day,
love
