    Hi Fiona,

Calcium is not cholesterol. Do you take magnesium? Magnesium keeps calcium under control, too much calcium blocks arteries, magnesium unblocks arteries. Most people are deficient in magnesium due to pesticides sprayed on our food therefore, it is very important to take a supplement, magnesium is responsible for over three hundred functions in our body. If you have yogurt, milk in tea or on cereal you will take in enough calcium and it is best not to supplement. Magnesium when supplementing with calcium should be on a 1:1 ratio.
