Calf Pain

Hello, I've been having on and off calf pain for a few weeks. At first it felt like a slight tug in my calf but then that pain went away for two weeks or so. I woke up this past Sunday morning and when I got up to walk around, my calf felt as if I has done a huge work out the prior day. It was so tight and sore despite me not doing any workout or physical activity to make my calf sore. I was limping with nearly every step. I monitored it a few days and by wednesday morning, it felt completely better. But now I've woken up this morning and when I started walking- I feel that tug I initially felt the first time around again. I don't feel any pain when resting, only when walking. I have also woken up with sore ribs and shoulder on my left side. It's not unbearable pain but a bit annoying. I scheduled an appointment with my primary care doctor but his next available appointment is two weeks away. Is this something I should worry more about? I know I shouldn't read so much on the internet but I'm a little frantic as my calf has no reason to be sore.
