Can a bicep strain cause a bulge?

Long story short.... I had a failed bicep tenodesis repaired in February and two weeks ago I was doing yard work and lifted a tarp with soil on it that ended up being heavier than I thought. When I lifted it, I felt a stretch/strain in my operated arm. Then a few days later I noticed a bulge in my bicep similar to the pop-eye bulge I had after the failed tenodesis but much smaller and not as apparent. I went into see my doc's PA and he thought the bicep was still attached but just had some swelling that was causing the bulge. However, a week later the bulge looked a little bigger so he wants an MRI but still thinks it's attached.

Has something like this happened to anyone else? Is it possible I just strained the muscle body?

Freaking out a little here.

Thanks
