can all these symptoms be caused by acid reflux

so i recently had an endoscopy and was diagnosed with extra esophageal re-flux i was just wondering if all these symptoms i've been having lately are linked to it. I've been sometimes feeling lousy, even if I've had a good night sleep. I feel sometime like my stomach and gullet are hotter than usual. I've got this tight and somewhat painful feeling in my sternum. That's pretty much it at the moment my GP has also stated that with no family history and me being 30 I have very little chance of it being cancer. I also have a gastroscopy booked in a couple of weeks.

Stress—like what you’re going through right now, worrying about this—isn’t doing you any favors.
Could it be cancer? Sure. But I wouldn’t put money on it, not by a looooong shot. It could also be—and it’s far more likely to be—a whole host of other things. Reflux is by far the most likely.
Help yourself a bit by learning to meditate. Take 5 minutes every hour and breathe deep, slowly, observing your breatva d howvir feels. Occupy your mind entire with your sensations—the breath up your nostrils, the feet on the ground, the expansion and contraction of your stomach.
Relax. It will help, if only a bit. Then follow your doc’s recommendations. Consider following a GERD diet, too. It may do wonders.
Good luck!

Hi Christophe,
by symptoms this points to really mild reflux. It is good to know the underlying cause. Unfortunately many times the cause (etiology) of this disease is unknown. In this case it is safe to follow the long-term changes.
Quitting smoking
Maintaining healthy weight
Sleeping with incline
Balanced diet - removing well known irritants
Possibly trying medication - start with Gaviscon Advance (antacid) when symptoms appear. If the results are unsatisfactory, try and talk to doctor to get you PPIs (e.g. Omeprasole) or H2 blockers (e.g. Ranitidine).
Be patient and do not get anxious - anxiety exacerbates any symptoms.
Take care,
Martin
