Can an anal fissure lead to an anal fistula?

I understand your concern but you shouldn't worry about that. I know it because I had multiple anal fissure and I do know that feeling bro.. But to tell ya, the yellow mucus thing is a discharge from the fissure (as I had also noticed in mine) and not what you thinking of Fistula... So don't drag your self into that and let it heal.. I'll give you one good idea to heal that fissure and make your pain go by from day one. Get a betadine ointment from the medical store and apply it to the fissure 2 times in the day and see the results for yourself. Repeat this 2-3 days and your free from the Fissure.
