Can anxiety cause sensations that you feel like you might choke or cough?

I'm really worried if my anxiety is the cause of my fear right now or I probably need to get checked right away at the ER. I inhaled some powder sugar that you use to mix your drinks for flavor, while trying to pour most of it inside my water bottle with a bit of shaky hands. The dust of the powder though is making me worried if I might of inhaled some into my lungs, my mouth wasn't open, but I did smell the powder dust. I feel like I need to cough, even though it's not really happening, I'm not sure if this is something I should be concerned about or not, but I do suffer from health anxiety really bad. I also suffer from acid reflux too where I always feel like something is in my throat or something is wrong with it.

That can definitely be an anxiety symptom. I have a friend who also has bad anxiety and his primary symptom is feeling a choking sensation and needing to cough. My anxiety manifests differently, but quite a few people seem to have that during an anxiety attack.
