can anxiety cause the part of the stool to be blackened?

Dont know if it's my anxiety that's making my stool to be kindof blackened, it only occur sometime,not every of my stool is blackened, and i remembered i used an iron supplement medicine, can it be the cause? is anyone experiencing this as well?

    It's more likely to be the iron supplement. Bred wine can also do it.

    Iron supplelements and medicines can cause stools to be black, it's quite normal nothing to worry about.

    An intake of oral Iron tablets can cause one's stool to be darkened, as can internal bleeding.

    If you have the slightest doubt in your mind which one is causing it you need to go and see your doctor.

    The best test is to stop taking the Iron tablets and see what happens, and if the stool continues to be dark then don't delay in seeing your doctor.

    Could be iron, could be digested blood. Don't think it could be anxiety. I think you should see a Dr right away.

    Thanks everyone, i noticed when i begin to take the iron supplement sometimes back,i usually have black stool,but when i stopped,my stool was normal,but now,i think i only took it for like 2 days or so, my stool begun to blacken,i didnt expect such little amount to make my stool blackened but anyways, thanks for the advice, my anxiety symptoms,like sore ribs,migraine,palpitations has subside for now,but i know they are gonna show up later..but my palpitation,it will just come and go. I think am getting used to it
