Can Anxiety sinus pain or infection?

Hi, I’ve been suffering from Health Anxiety for a few months and recently I’ve had pain and pressure in my sinus areas, which are my cheekbones and forehead above and between the eyebrows. I’ve also had pressure in my teeth, jaw pain, and chin pain, as well as eye ache. I have post nasal drip but little congestion and when it is, it’s only one sided and switches sides. Can anxiety Cause these pains or a sinus infection? I’m scared the infection might spread to my brain. Thanks in advance

Hello Shane.
I’ve had a bad sinus infection for about a month. 2 rounds of antibiotics and nasal sprays didn’t work. I just started a round of steroids that I have to take for 6 days. If those don’t help I need to see an ent.
My anxiety has been through the roof because of my sinus infection. Our minds tell us that it must be more than just a sinus infection. I also believe that since your anxiety is so high all the time our bodies have a harder time taking care of themselves; our immune systems arent the best. Hence the reason my stupid infection hasn’t gone away for a month. 😐
My sinus infection has been soooo painful, giving me migraines and light sensitivity, nausea and dizziness.
I hope you get some relieve soon.

Mine started in January 2016 I started with clogged ears and getting dizzy. Had episodes of sweats and then cold. Went on antibiotics 2x and it helped but it came back. If I bent down I would get head pain. If I coughed or sneezed I’d get head pain. I dealt with this for over a year. I finally found a neurologist that put me on citalopram 10mg and it’s helped me.
Will😎
