Can any kind person tell me the best exercises to do for Frozen Shoulder - what works for you ?

First of all, I agree with another poster on here...why this condition from Hell is merely nicknamed 'Frozen Shoulder' I will never figure out.'Absolute Unrelenting Agony Shoulder' would be a better name in my opinion.
I developed this condition in both shoulders (dominant is far worse) at age 50, which I personally believe is hormonal in origin as I am in perimenopause - and my estrogen levels are very low. Thought to start off as a form of tendonitis, and evolve into frozen shoulder later on - it is not recognised as one of the known symptoms of meno in the UK (yet!!) but is extremely common in Japan and China where it affects far more women, and they call it 'Fifties Shoulder. However - whatever the etiology - the condition is the same in men and women and once you have it - that is it. I thought as it was hormonal, HRT might help me but it has done absolutely nothing now the capsules have adhered. Who knows if I had caught it earlier at the mere tendonitis stage and and gone on HRT - but I will never know!
I am really, really struggling now with extreme pain and limited movement. Cannot raise arms in any direction, the whole of the arm aches - worse on dominant side - radiates into neck and back...getting no sleep, it is on my mind 24/7 and seems to be getting worse. (Oh - just a quick question - can anyone else put their hands on their hips?? I find this really odd, it is almost like myleft arm has warped or something - I simply cannot got my hand to rest on my hip, and it makes my whole arm ache if I try. )
So much for the stages of this condition - where the pain subsides as movement gets more limited. I must be stuck in the first stage I think as I am still in absolute agony..AND I have progressively limited moment. Waking up in the morning is hell - it takes about an hour to get moving - everything stiffens up, even my hands and fingers.
I am on a waiting list for physio - could take up to three months, so I have not been given any exercises. I wondered if some kind person would give me a brief explanation of what I can be doing. You tube is full of FS exercises but I don't know which ones work and thought it might be best to ask those people with the most experience - so thank you in advance for any help.

About 4 weeks ago and have exercises I do each day
These seem to be helping !
Wall walking hand up wall
And back down 20 times
Lifting small weight held in both hands in front
So you take weight up to chin elbows out to side
15 times
Rotate shoulders both ways 15 times
Lean on a chair bending forwards swing arm
Forward and back 15 times
Same as above but side to side 15 times
I do have a sheet of more advanced exercises
But they are painful to do at mo !

I have frozen shoulders, the right shoulder first, now the left. I started sculling in a very very warm pool, since I could not raise my arms pass my belly button at first, a couple of days into it I could do elementary backstroke, then a wierd looking breaststroke. Now after 6 weeks I can do a slow motion backstroke with no pain and a very slow freestyle with a little pain. If I miss a day, my shoulders stiffen up. I still feel like someone stabbed me with a knife when I make certain movements, but it is getting much better.
I feel the key is swimming in a very warm pool. Good Luck to anyone with this condition
