Can any of these symptoms be due to my scoliosis?

Hi I've been having a lot of chest pressure recently and a really annoying feeling of not being able to take deep breaths some of the time. It almost feels like there is something stuck under my left rib cage and I can't fully expand my lungs? I have mild/moderate scoliosis which I haven't had examined since I was a teenager (now 29), and my rib cage is twisted. I get digestive issues most days, palpitations, occasional pins and needles and muscle weakness sensations, sometimes pain in my back when I swallow, headaches, occasional dizziness, very tender abdomen and ribs. I have a weird sensation down my left side which is hard to explain, as well as a squeak at the bottom of my ribs sometimes when I breathe in. I have constant soreness between my shoulder blades very high up which is worse when I stretch.
Does anyone suffer from problems like this and is there any chance these could be due to scoliosis/twisted ribs/muscle damage? I have 2 very young children and do a lot of carrying/lifting. My shortness of breath and discomfort has definitely only really been noticeable since having them.
I've had full cardio tests, blood tests, MRI's, ultrasounds, CT's. The only thing I've not had looked at recently is my scoliosis so I just wondered if at all it could be causing these symptoms.
Thanks

Hi that's interesting you feel similar. Can I ask which symptoms you have, or if easer which you don't have? I'm struggling at the moment as I have other health problems so trying to identify what is what.
Explaining the left side sensation is awkward as I can't really describe it. Almost like something is stuck down the left side? It feels full? Muscle spasms in that's area and when I bend or in particular when being sick (had horrendous morning sickness) I would get horrible palpitations and skipped beats when bending in that position- so scary. Can you explain your sensation?
I feel like my chest/ribs are full and I have a weakness.

My symptoms seem somewhat similar and dissimilar to yours [lol]
I have always found it hard to explain myself but I will do my best:
My left side feels totally different to my right in that from the top of my head to my big toe the whole side aches/hurts and feels heavy as if I am pulling a ball and chain around when I move. I also get weakness, throbbing and pins and needles. My ribs on the left are sore and I get occasional sharp pangs and feelings like one of my ribs are broken and digging in me. I get the palpitations and skipped beats too when bending, but I don't find them scary.
I have seen various doctors, consultants, neurologists and a chiropractor. Tried all the meds under the sun and none have got rid of the problem which has been ongoing for 20 years now.
As far as I know the cause is either my neck or spine. Any squatting, bending or lifting exasperates the symptoms and the only thing I have found to relieve it (temporarily) is the Chiropractor and pilates exercises.
Definitely pilates spinal exercises, stretching and neck exercises ease the symptoms and I would definitely recommend it, but find someone who has experience with scoliosis.
?I hope this helps.

Hi thanks for this. I'm currently seeing an osteopath but not sure it's helping. I'm not even 100% sure this is down to my scoliosis as I haven't seen a specialist about it for years. Have the doctors said it's down to the scoliosis? Is your curve bad? I'm waiting for a referral to go and see someone but worrying in the mean time.
That's good the palpitations don't worry you. I get mine from certain exercise as well, Pilates nearly made me faint and decorating the other week gave me horrible palpitations for an hour or so afterwards.
I definitely have the weakness down that side and often wake up on a morning with a feeling of a weak chest.
Do you find problems breathing or with your digestive system?
The pins and needles seem to be on both sides for me though. I get pain from my forehead down to my leg though on the left side. More sharp pains that don't last long in random places.

No the doctors have not said what is the cause, but I'm pretty sure it is. My curve is mild from what I know.
I don't have any breathing or digestive problems apart from acid reflux on a regular basis.
What is your mattress like? I have found that finding the right one for you can make the world of difference.
