Can any one help me with my condition? (abdominal pain after eating)

I didn't had any medical history or problem prior to 17th Oct. 2016, when suddenly i had stomach ache after eating my dinner. I went to normal consultation twice and to ER twice. Every time i was given a prescription of drugs and sent off. First they gave mein Ibrufen and buscopan. I completed the course and nothing happened. Then i was given Antibiotics and paracetamol. Went through the course but to no avail. MY problem is that i have lower abdominal pain. On an empty stomach there is a dull pain in lower abdomen. But after i eat anything the pain starts after 10 min of eating in the lower right side and makes its way toward lower left side where it travels a little down almost on the upper side of hips and then goes away. but it tends to come back and go away through out the day. And i have back pain since this problem started. I feel sleepy all the time and low on energy.

I tried changing my diet but the pain starts regardless of if i eat fruits, vegetables, meats , no matter the food is smoked or grilled or deep fried.

Please if any one can help me. I am 22 years old without any previous medical condition.

Sounds like IBS.  Ask your doctor for tests and ask about IBS.  Do you have change of bowel habit?

I also thinks its IBS but i didn't experienced any change in my bowel movement. They are as they were before the pain. The doctor did blood and urine test and they all came back normal

People with IBS commonly have change of bowel habit.  Has your doctor suggested IBS?

i will discuss the matter with my doctor. But my appointment is in March 2017. Till then i have to wait. Private hospitals are very expensive here and i am a Full time University Student with no job.

Hello in addition to what I said yesterday I think you should go to a GI Dr being it's ur abdomen and you should inquire about getting a colonoscopy could show something a urine test wont

Private hospitals are expensive in Great Britain too but my anxiety was so bad and the waiting made it worse.  At least the results were negative.  I really feel for you having to wait this long with all the anxiety that goes with it.  Best of luck when your appointment comes round.

GI means gastrointestinal... Its a specialist Dr who's area of expertise is dealing with upper and lower stomach (abdominal issues).in what country do you live?

Hi there I am a 34 yr old female and I have had this same exact problem my whole life I mean like as far back as I can possibly remember however mine comes in spells like everytime I eat my lower abdomen would kill me and it would be like that for months and eventually go away to where I am able to eat again without pain but then all sudden it wil come back just right out of the blue. I'm so sorry for what ur going through bc I know what it's like and I too have seen many doctors with no luck so if you happen to get a diagnosis or find out what it is please let me know bc I too would like to find some relief as well. Good luck.

It seems like the doctor can't figure out what is the probem. For me they have ruled out gallstones, any infection viral or bacterial. IDK what is going on inside its just unsettling and i always keep thinking about it. I am referred to a medical complex by the health center in our area but the appointment is in March 2017. Lets wait and hope it goes away before that.

Hi there, I thought i had to reply to your post as I have exactly the same problem. Pain after eating. I haven't eaten for 5 days, been in hospital they didnt know what was wrong. Still can't eat, i tried 2 grapes early and was then in agony, its not good.

?I have inflammatory bowel disease, but they dont seem to think its that, and everyone just acts like im crazy. I do apparently have a intolerance to carbohydrates though.

?If you can eat, id recommend trying the FODMAP diet. When i looked at it before I thought no way can i do this and live without bread, but currently i can't eat anything so something would be better than nothing.

?Ive seen alot of specialists and noone including gastroenterology has any answers. I assume you've had bloods done and that they are fine. you could ask to be referred to gastro, but they didnt have any answers for me. Otherwise you could try antispasmotics which you can get over the counter but again they didnt help me.  if anyone has any suggestions other than mine id love to hear them!
