Can anyone give me advice on trazodone dosage for sleep anxiety?

Can anyone please give advice on dosage amounts for taking trazodone for onset anxiety caused from chronic insomnia? I am from Australia where you cannot get it so had to order online as heard such great things about it helping with insomnia. Have tried both mirtzapine & valdoxin but mirt caused a lot of weight gain & valdoxin didn't help at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    I'm sorry to hear you're suffering, but the only advice I can offer is that you shouldn't be self-dosing with these powerful drugs without medical advice. Also, as I'm sure you know, it's not the best idea to order on-line as there's no guarantee that you're getting the stated dose - or, indeed, the stated drug.

    Is there some reason you can't see a doctor?

      Thanks for your reply. I guess I will delete the order - it did say on the website it was prescribed from an Australian dr. Sounds like A stupid idea now, id just heard so many great things about it for sleep. My dr here has basically given up on me and seems annoyed every time I go back to see her. Every other healthcare professional seems to not have any answers, I feel very alone and worried I'm going to be like this forever.

    You don't know what the drug could be cut with.

    Majorly AUSTRALIA have severe penalties regarding drugs and you will be prosecuted.

    Just being honest.

    Seek help from your Doctor.

    If you buy off the internet you will be charged with Importing drugs into Australia which holds a prison sentence.
