I have vestibular neuritis which is an inner ear illness but VRT helps. You can look up home vestibular therapy exercises on YouTube to help you

I was diagnosed with VN in Aug of 2015 .Drink lots of fluids and rest.Take the medication for the dizziness but its not for long term use.If there is nerve damage you will need to do VRT excercises to get better.I'm now back to 90% recovered.
