hello. im hoping someone can help while i wait for my referral. i have many lumps and bumps and now alot of pain! im beside myself with worry! i have been putting alot of creams on but maybe its made it worse

Hello, for the past few years I get a spot or two break out 2 to 3 times a year. they can be on labia, perineum or sometimes in the buttock crease. untreated they will eventually burst and be oozy and sore for several days. horrible. I had a swab once and it grew staph aureus. (common skin bacteria). I also had 1 GP refer me to genito-urinary clinic in case it was herpes. of course it wasn't...anyway, I have found that Metronidazole cream or Fusidic Acid cream prevent them from coming to a head and bursting, so I have much less discomfort for only a few days too. nobody talks about this stuff but I'm not shy, one of my friends then confessed that she thought she was the only one, felt dirty and ashamed. you are not alone! hope that's all your spot is and you get relief soon. sorry I'm not sure from your pics, I can never get a good one of my spots either!

Hello, I finally had my appointment today! It was a abscess on my clit that hadn't drained properly since February and the site of the original area where it burst had closed up so there was some 'left over' not infected though but they drained it away. the Local Aesthetic in that area hurt like hell! i think once it wears off tonight i'm going to be a tad sore!
