Hello,

I'm current working away from home and cant get to my GP.

However I have noticed some clusters of white spots on my penis under my foreskin, there is no pain or irritation at present.

Any help will be good.

Thanks in advanced.!

This looks like dry scaly skin on the surface level of your upper-shaft. If you scratch it lightly does the skin fall off? Just checked a blown up image I downloaded and they do look like spots: what is you recent sexual history, any unprotected? How recently did these develop?

What you could have is a dermatological reaction going on - this can be anything from a reaction to soap, shower gel, cream of some kind your are applying, or even a reaction to condoms, for example. Only use water to clean your penis with and make sure to completely dry it with a clean towel that only you use.

Can you call at any sexual health center near to where you currently are ..... ?

      Hi Dugie,

yeah they aren't dry or scaley, I don't know how long ago these developed however i don't remember there being anything there. Ive had the same partner for 3 years. Late last year i was away working again and somehow got a yeast infection.

I'm currently on a boat out in the Gulf of Mexico so going to a clinic is a no for the time being.

I clean it everyday with nothing that i haven't used for years.

The thing with anything that is a regular body cleanser is that the sensitive skin of the penis can get to a point where it simply cannot tolerate it anymore, often something else could have occurred to trigger this, but sometimes it is just that long-term exposure that is sufficient.

Often the best specialist who know about this are Dermatologist who specialise in genital skin disorders, and some of the larger sexual health centres have these working regularly at them ...

they look like fordyse spots to me , ive got similar patches of them , i never noticed them but then noticed them a lot - doctor said very common and nothing to worry about - i find a little bit of coconut oil keeps that area from drying out and being so noticable

but do go to gp to check when you can
