Can anyone identify what this strange lump/spot on my face is?

I have had this strange spot for about 2 weeks and it hasn't changed at all since it suddenly grew. It started off under my skin and I thought it would become a normal spot (because I have acne) but it only took a day or so to grow into this strange lump. It is definitely not a normal spot and I can see the blood vessels in it when I wash my face. When I googled possibilities as to what it could be, the only thing it looked similar to was nodular basal cell carcinoma - which obviously panicked me a lot, but I know google isn't the best place to diagnose it.

Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

Thanks in advance!

As it grew so quickly its unlikely to be a basal cell carcinoma. Does it itch? Does it have a dimple in the middle? Does it bleed? If yes to all these questions it may be a BCC and you should see your doctor. BCCs can be removed quite easily with no after effects.

Because you say you have acne I think this may be a blocked cyst below the skin. It should gradually resolve or come to the surface and discharge. Retinol face cream can be helpful but only use on this spot as it can be irritating .
