Hi Anne, I restarted sert on Nov 19 and have had diarrhea for weeks. For the last month of so and even now, I still have loose stool. But having suffered very terrible constipation in the past due to sert, I am okay with loose stool, for the time being. And yes, my stomach growls and rumbles alot. And I have GERD that comes and goes. Check with your doc just to err on the safe side but don't worry about. Just try to eat more fiber, etc. to firm up stool.

I truly believe that my GERD is caused by Zoloft because I didn't have it till after decades of being on sert. For awhile it got so bad I had to sleep on an elevated pillow and I belching a lot. Currently, thank goodness, my GERD is not acting up. My I still have neck stiffness - definitely med side effects. So I soak in warm baths with Epsom salt to help ease the muscle tightness. I always try to cope with side effects as best as I can.
