Can anyone tell me what this is?

It has been growing for going on 2 years. The first person to see it said syphilis and treated me for it, then they called to say sorry...i tested negative. The next person gave me the full panel and I mean FULL. All negative, included herpes.

Next, I went to a dermatologist who did not know what it was. She gave me an ointment and it didn't work.

Now it is a bigger spot and is much more obvious after masturbating.

I have a girlfriend who gets tested when she goes to her by no, and she is still clean.

Can anyone tell me what the heck this is? It is also more sensitive and tender within the perimeter. Could it be aome kind of fungal growth?

    Yes, probably fungal - ringworm?

Assuming the dermatologist overlooked this, how can I treat ringworm?

Also, could my gf have it inside or around her vagina now? Topical solutions wouldn't work in that case. What the heck could we do about that? Lol

I think any anti-fungal cream from a pharmacist off the shelf or over the counter, such as Daktarin or Canesten would be worth a try. In fact I believe it's the same kind of stuff as is used as athlete's foot treatment.

Your girlfriend could get suppositories if she has internal infection, but might be wise to have a doctor advise as, unlike the penis, the effects or ill effects of using a self-treatment would not be easily visible.

That looks unusual, but I don't know what it might be either.  It doesn't look like an STI, but it could be a form of balanitis.  I'd keep seeing the dermatologist if I were you, or maybe a urologist.

What ointment were you given btw?  I'd guess it would be an anti-fungal cream or maybe a steroid cream.
