Can eating meat by accident make you physically sick?

after my post the other day where i ate gluten free sausage rolls by accident (well a bite of one) i have ended up really poorly. my stomach is sick and i have lose bowels now. is this just a coincidence or is it because i accidentally ate meat, does anyone know what the difference is between the cheesy ones and sausage rolls? they're gluten free of course and from marks. it's sounds strange to comment on here but i don't know where else to ask?
