Can eczema start in your 60s for the first time?

I have red, flaky, rough, non-itchy blotches on my face. They are mostly around my mouth, not touching my lips at all, and along the jaw and hairline. The Dr said it is eczema. He has me using topical steroids. I read that eczema starts in your 20s or earlier.

Thanks

Eczema can hit anyone at any age. With the deterioration of your immune system, it may come.. also, our body changes with time, we may get sensitive to different things throughout our lifetime without knowing.

e.g. you may not get a reaction from eating sour fruits when you were younger, however, now, you may develop hives from eating them..

For a more natural way, you may try applying organic coconut oil on a small area to see if it helps before applying it over the whole area. Steroids usually help in the fast recovery but it may come back with a vengeance.
