Gynaecomastia, or male breast growth does not increase oestrogen.
It is caused by an imbalance of oestrogen in the male body.It can be quite common in teenage boys as occasionally oestrogen can outweigh testosterone but usually these cases settle down.
As men approach their later years the level of testosterone can drop and this can cause gynaecomastia.
it can also be caused by being overweight as fat can generate oestrogen
In most cases gynaecomastia can be treated by hormone medication to redress the balance between oestrogen and testosterone.Hope that helps Vismay.
