Hi

i a few weeks ago i went to urgent care because i was have trouble peeing. it took me a while to finally go but still was going. okay so urgent care did a urine test and it came back clean nothing in the urine. they told me i had urinary hesitancy. and told me to follow up with my doctor and i did and he did exam on me and i asked me questions ect and he the exam looks good. he told me young male can happen to and its nothing to be shame of or wrorry about. well the pass two days it seems like it came back i feel like i had a full bladder i could not pee the first few times but finally did after the third or four time. and a few mins later i feel like i still have to go but i wait until i really have to go. I am not sure its an anxiety or i should go back to the doctor. my doctor did not do any test. just the exam. My pee is clear and sometimes light yellow.

Hello! Sorry you're having a difficult time, I have interstitial cystitis and understand how frustrating urinary issues can be. Sometimes when I'm anxious, the urge to pee is worse and the frequency increases. Urination requires a relaxing of the pelvic muscles so if you're anxious, and if you carry a lot of tension in your pelvis, that may be why you're having trouble. Still, I would go back to the doctor-he could order another urine culture or maybe an ultrasound to rule out other issues. If it is purely anxiety, medication might help or even pelvic physical therapy. Good luck!?
