Can i cold turkey 25mg of nortriptyline

I started on amitriptyline 25mg for cyclic vomiting syndrome and switched it nortriptyline 25mg about a month ago. Neither of them worked and just make me extremely tired. I'm curious if I can just stop taking nortriptyline 25mg?

Doctors love Nortriptyline but it has a much longer half life & makes you tired. If it works then maybe go back to Amitriptyline. Same drug type but shorter half life, you are on low dose so stopping it slowly wouldn’t faze you. Cut it in half for a few days. But if it isn’t working just tell your Dr they love to offer a pill but really a TCA isn’t going to do much for vomiting. But if it works the persevere - you will grow a tolerance.
