Can I contract herpes (or any other STI) this way?

I have found myself visiting multiple sex workers a month since I broke up with my ex. I have been trying to control it but have not been successful so far.

I am very anxious about contracting STIs, therefore I ask them to give me a handjob and that too covered. Sometimes they do touch my penis uncovered, but thats the extent of it.

Can I catch herpes (or any other STI) this way?

Recently I had a big bump in my pubic area (2 cm above the base of my penis). It started oozing blood but I thought it was just a bacterial infection or an inflammation from an ingrown hair. Should I get tested for any STI? (I have not had oral or vaginal sex but just received handjobs since my last STI test 2 years ago)

Please advise me.

    no you cant. get tested anyways & if you have this much anxiety stop paying sex workers

    i think with a hand job only youre safe but quit seeing sex workers. you have two hands... use them as much as you need to!
