    Dear Dan,

What I can see in the photo is a large patch of depigmentation at the base of the penis as well as some tiny pale and skin-coloured bumps on the shaft. Are these the lesions you want us to comment on?

Also, can I check you haven't been trying to 'fix' the problem/s by applying strong creams/chemicals to the genital area? Sometimes depigmentation can result from the skin being damaged by application of caustic chemicals.

If you haven't applied any of the above treatment, then the patch of depigmented skin is likely to be vitiligo, which is a skin condition associated with the loss of pigment-producing skin cells (melanocytes). A good description can be found on DermnetNZ. It is sometimes associated with other conditions such as diabetes and thyroid disease, so it's a good idea to see your doctor to get some blood tests done.

The tiny spots are probably unrelated to the vitiligo and suggest you have lichen nitidus. You may need steroid cream for this, but if it's not causing you any itching or discomfort it doesn't require treatment.

When lockdown eases you should try to see a dermatologist.

    Rgds,

    Adhari.

I agree with Adhari, you need the specialist help of a Dermatologist - go see one when you can ....
