I know I have herpes and need to get the right medical treatment but of course this isn't going to happen unless I'm officially diagnosed. I want to go to my local planned parenthood to get swab tested, but , is it free? Is the medication free? If im under 18 do I have to have a legal adult?

You might want to call them to verify if it's free testing for herpes. I know places will do free std screenings but herpes is an sti. Also, i know in some states you don't need legal guardian permission to be tested.

Yes, you can get herpes tested at Planned Parenthood. They do offer STD testing services. Although their services are not free.
