Can I have private consultation

Posted , 4 users are following.

Ladies, I have an appointment with my consultant next Thursday to discuss results of MRI.  I already know she is worried about soemting on scan and I am driving myself mad with worry.  Does anyone know if I can ring up to ask for a private consultation with her before then, is that allowed?

    Hi,

I can understand how worried you must be.  Being honest I don't think so but you could always phone and find out.  Best of luck.

Thanks, just had my appointment letter through for next week and decided to wait after all.  At least it doesn't say please bring somebody with you or anything like that!  Then I would have panicked.  Just have to wait a week and try not to think about it.

    Hi

As it is a week you may not get one but nothing stopping you trying . Most consultants have

    Nhs and a

    Separate private secretary. You should

    Easily be

    able to get her
