I have an ear infection I just started today taking 500 mg of Amoxicillin every 8 hours. I'm having a dental procedure in two days that requires me to take antibiotics due to heart murmur do i need to take more or will the antibiotics I'm taking be enough to prevent any other infection.

I would strongly advise talking to both your dentist and your doctor....... No words of wisdon on this forum is worth any value compared to those two professionals. If necessary get the answer on paper in case they get it wrong!

Alls well, ends well. What i mean is you can do this, i did it. Its good to do this because it minimises dental pain, and promotes ear infection solution, although i would say that the drug is mostly good with dental issues and not others.
