Can incomplete right bundle branch block from childhood affect heart under stress

In 1965 I had a surgical correction of a congenital atrial septal defect At that time (I was almost 9) the doctors told my parents that it was so significant that did/had I not had the surgery I wouldn't have made it to puberty. So here's my query. I have always been a person who even in my early years (post surgery) did not have much stamina. I did alright for a while but then while others were going on, I was out of breath. I know that at rest, my heart rhythm is irregular in that every so often they'll be a short pause between beats (probably less than .5 seconds). If I start moving around a little bit, or if I have a fever, it will go to a steady even rhythm. The bottom line here is that "in my gut" I feel that this is something other than just being out of shape. Yes, I am out of shape, but I think it's more than that. So what I'm wondering is if there is anyone out there, or anyone who has got "connections" to a cardiologist could ask if they have heard of anything about IRBBB affecting heart function under stress (exercise). The last stress test, I couldn't even complete it and they had to medically induce the stress. Thanks all. 😃
