Can Labyrinthitis Have Flare Ups?

Had surgery last week and since then my only complaint has been that I believe my Labyrinthitis has flared up. Is this possible? My surgery was NOT on my ears or nose or throat. My thought is that the stress leading up to surgery combined with the stress on my body from surgery has done this?

Since I have been home I have had the lightheaded sensation, muffled ears/feeling congested, uneasy and unsteadiness, feeling like I will fall over while walking, mild ringing in ears and it is sending my anxiety through the roof. I hate it and I want it to go away. The last time I felt this bad was when I was diagnosed and it lasted for a YEAR!
