Can Lysine cause false positive HSV 2 IGG result?

Posted , 1 user is following.

Tested on 5/27/2020 for HSV 2 for the first time and received a high negative at 0.81. However, this high negative result still freaked me out a bit so I decided to start taking 1000 mg of lysine every day before going in for a follow-up test today (7/16). Yet after some online research, I realized that lysine increases the production of HSV antibodies in the blood, therefore, could this lysine supplement theoretically increase the number of HSV 2 antibodies in my blood and therefore produce a false positive HSV 2 result on my IGG blood test?

Idk if it's relevant but I have HSV 1 (like most people)

Thanks for any input!
