Can Menopause symptoms come and go ? I am losing my mind

Sometimes I have great days where I don't feel any symptoms. The next day they suddenly appear. Or they are there in the morning but seem to wear off by the afternoon. I have started HRT a couple of weeks ago but I am wondering if this could be something else ? I start feeling great and then bam it starts all over again. I am losing my mind !

Absolutely - well in my experience. I was hit by a wave of dreadful symptoms back in September 2020. I had terrible anxiety, nausea, jittery/doom feelings, adrenaline surges, faint, hot ant cold flushes, loss of appetite, insomnia, digestive issues etc..

I adjusted my HRT and it seemed to settle again but since then I have had weeks where I am fine only to be floored again by my symptoms. Added to which I had covid in late December/early January and that seemed to trigger my symptoms again.

All in all it's horrendous and I feel so low and alone.

This is similar to me. I started HRT a month ago - & I feel my mood has lifted slightly, however I have terrible anxiety (due to the menopause I am assuming!) & for a few weeks my anxiety & menopause symptoms are bearable & then, as you say, bam, my anxiety is awful & I feel terrible for a few weeks (sometimes it wears off during the day) but I am floored again....

You are not losing your mind - or if you are, so am I....
